red/blue

Thu May 16, 2013 2:06 pm

i can see that there is a split pro red pro blue,an prominent fans are now saying we should do
something to get are blue back.
so could someone answer me a question?
why wasnt anything done when this rebrand was done, before anyone answers that it would
have made the team unstable, when a march was organised against ridsdale we wer told
by borley that it could jepordise the investment from tan an co,but the march still went ahead.
i am dead against the rebrand and i have not been to city since.
none of us have done anything,an i got to be truthful it do seem that now that sam has come closer
to settling with tan people want to do something now.
or is that coindence.
the time to demostrate was when it was brought in,i think we missed the boat

It's a message board. By definition I'm entitled to respond to a post

Why post about something that has been done to death time and time and time again?

i'm not saying that I fully support the rebrand but It's getting really really really boring and pointless now when people keep on posting about the rebrand

Using your own words, he's totally entitled to post a topic about it too!

There HAVE been things that have been done... Sadly though, some of the people are fearful of their safety... Some being threatened, some being mocked on message boards and the like.

Hopefully people will soon realise that everyone had the right to an opinion & as long as any action is done in a peaceful way which doesn't jepoardise matches, who the hell is anyone to say that they can't do so?

I totally agree with you.

My point being is that the rebrand topic has been done hundreds and hundreds of times before.

I dont understand what more there is that can be said about it!

Do you not find it boring now?

if you find the topic boring, and it been done a hundred times before, why click on the topic.
i think the thread headline red/blue gives it away that it a rebrand thread.
if i was bored of a thread i would not click on it it common sense

Totally irrelevant point. Why don't I find it boring? Why should I?

The thread was clearly titled, why open it if you're so bored?!

If you clicked on something to type a few 'bored' smilies, that's well boring that is.

I completely agree. I've said from the start that an organized protest should've happened, but it's a tricky situation because there are so many fans who think that it was "red or dead". I think that until our debt is sorted then there won't be a large majority of fans wanting to get our identity back in fear that Tan will leave us to die.

If Tan left now, I don't think we would die, NOT AT ALL. Langstone might die but that's their problem for stalling and stalling.

I agree. A lot of our fans just don't want to take the risk.

I think they've been mis informed about the risks & others justaren't really bluebirds and don't care providing there's man ure and liverpool walloping us next season.
