Now let's sort Super Kev out and get signing some players. :D

Cardiff City Football Club can today confirm its retain list ahead of the 2013/14 Premier League season.

As anticipated, senior professionals Heidar Helguson and Stephen McPhail will leave the Club when their contracts expire on June 30th 2013. We wish both men the very best of luck for the future after fantastic service to Cardiff City. Kevin McNaughton, meanwhile, has been offered a new contract.

Development professionals Elliott Parish, Nat Jarvis and Jesse Darko will also leave Cardiff City this summer having not been offered new deals. Adedeji Oshilaja and Ronnie Hawkins have been offered contracts, while an option has been excercised to retain promising full-back Luke Coulson.

Six of the Club's apprentices have been offered professional deals after graduating through the Cardiff City Academy - Dane Griffiths, Gethyn Hill, Kane Owen, David Richards, Theo Wharton, Josh Yorwerth. In addition, Tommy O'Sullivan has been offered a professional deal with a year left to run on his apprentice agreement. We wish the seven of them the very best of luck as they progress with Kevin Cooper's Development Squad next season and congratulate them on their achievement.

Guys, no surprises here BUT remember this is for those 'out of contract' and Malky may decide to let others leave via the transfer system later. Watch this space ;) :ayatollah:

Agreed.

:malky:

I am sad about Jarvis, though, as he's a Cardiff boy and from a good family. I was in school with his mother and she is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Always a shame when a Cardiff boy leaves our club.

It is a shame but no doubt that he is not close to being a prem player. Can maybe have a decent career in league 1 or 2
