Any good? Yeah, love star treck, although I don't like all the spinoffs its produced lol anything sci-fi and I'm game. Can't wait for them to get around filming the new starwars film

If ya haven't seen it, i would recommend watching it and not looking on here because at some point spoilers will appear.
If you liked the first JJ Version then you will love it. Based on what JJ has done with Stat fleet I must admit I am excited at what he will do when he gets his paws on The Empire and Rebellion.

Major storyline and ending spoilers coming at 21:00hrs...

Before then, is the 3D on it any good? Going to see it tomorrow but not sure whether to fork out for 3D or just watch it in standard 2D

The film starts with Kirk and co being chased by the indigenous primitive natives of a planet they're attempting to save..
Spock gets up close and personal with a planet destroying Volcano and the Enterprise is more Submarine than starship...

Kirk gets stripped then reinstated..
Spock gets reassigned the reassigned again...
Several people die including a captain from the first movie..

Baddie is revealed to us all quickly..

The baddie from Kidulthood (Noel Clarke) is used as a terrorist to save his ill daughter..

Bad guy wipes out star fleet command...... Almost.

Kirk gets sent to Kronos (Home planet of Klingons) and we see Klingons!!!

Lots of nostalgic comments "God damn it Jim I'm a doctor" "It was logical"
And of course "Captain we don't have the power"..

Scotty is brilliant every scene.

Bad guy wipes out whole Klingon battalion single handily then surrenders to an unarmed Kirk and co...

Kirk finds out there's frozen people in Futon Torpedoes..

Baddie reveals himself to actually be a superhuman guy named...........KHAN!!!! )fan boy boner moment!!!

Bad guy is actually very good and the actor will be a hit in Hollywood me thinks..


Epic scenes ensue... (Very good in 3d)

Enterprise get battered!!!

Betrayal within star fleet!!!

A Wrath of Khan ending portrayed differently ..


And.......... Have I missed something?





Oh yeah... Kirk puts himself into the radioactive warp drive to save everyone and ... Dies.

But not before having a heart to heart moment with Spock between the glass.
Polar opposite to original ending of Wrath of Khan.



8/10 and possibly the best Star Trek that has been made....
