Yes I think so ,would make it more attractive to the teams going in it and maybe actually wanting to be in it .Also dont agree with the rule of if you fail in the first group stage of the champions league then you go into this to get another chance of winning .

Lets be honest it should'nt be called the champions league now as most of the teams in it arent champions .

If they are going to do it that way the teams that lose the round of 16 should go into the EL. Porto, United, Milan would have all been involved then.

I think it should and have always maintained this position. Winning a European cup ranks highly and the winners deserve a place in the proper competition. I get the feeling a lot of people are saying no because the Jacks are there, they won't make it past the quarters so you can leave your bitterness to the side on this issue.

I just think that if the yget knocked out of the group stages ,thats it your out !! its only been done to hopefully have some bigger teams in it to make it attractive,typical uefa.

I agree, but I think if they are going to do it, having the first knock out losers is better than the group losers.

I've been a big advocate of the FA Cup winners being handed a Champions League berth to add extra prestige to that tournament and I think it would be a good idea to give the Europa League winners a place in the Champions League. They should at least be given a place in the following year's tournament to defend their title.

Been asked and no. Personally I think do away with the EL and rename the CL the UEFA European League. Allow 3-6 entrants depending on league standard from each nation. Up to them how they distribute it though the league, play-offs, cups etc. have a larger group stage (5 teams in each group) and play it over Tue, Wed, Thurs. only way to level the playing field.

Only 9,800 tickets have been given to each set of fans. That's a crime if you ask me. Should be at least 13,000 and less for corporates

yes very much so! you win the second biggest club comp in Europe you should be rewarded and play in the first biggest comp the champions league, I think only finishing in the top three or even top two should be in champions league through the league

I agree but its whose place do they take up. For me the Fa Cup should be given a champions league spot, it would help bring back prestige to the Cup.

I really hope they take it from 4th in the PL to increase competition. The amount of teams currently playing for 4th is sickening.

1st - gold - deserves a place
2nd - silver - deserves a place
3rd - bronze - deserves a place

Why 4th? Give that to the FA Cup.

Then give another countries 4th position to the Europa League.

Its annoying the crap out of me seeing teams playing for 4th in the PL. Sod Spurs, Arsenal, etc. make them compete and force their owners hands.

Exactlly, itll force the top teams to play for the FA Cup as well as given a great chance for smaller clubs if they managed to win the Cup. It would also make the Prem more competitive as there would be less places to play for.

It would be silly, Any teams that get into Europa deserves it. Any team that gets into CL deserve it but why would you have a Europa team in CL? Would be unfair and stupid really.
