A forum for all things Cardiff City

Hi this is my first post on here though i have been reading regularly. The reason i'm posting here is because i am getting married next year. And am going to have my stag in Cardiff. I have been a Cardiff fan since 2000. I went to live in essex and all my mates were supporting lower league teams and it started as a joke as me following a welsh team pissed them all off. But after a while i grew a real passion for the club. Although still a Liverpool fan, Cardiff was growing on me. Then the match that changed my alliance forever happened. Cardiff vs Leeds FA Cup 3rd Round 2002. And since that day i have been fully fledged bluebird. When i moved back to Ireland i had to put up with a lot of teasing but it never put me off.
I have never been lucky enough to of seen Cardiff at home at on my stag weekend i am hoping to break my bluebird cherry. So what i am on here to find out is how hard will it be to get a ticket. I am hoping to go over in March or April. I honestly do not care who they play. It would make my weekend something amazing. Would appreciate any feedback guy.

Graham Kavanagh, still my fave bluebird

Not sure how the ticket situation will work out, probably easier to get a ticket if we are playing stoke at home rather than man utd. Congratulations for your wedding and for supporting the Bluebirds, hope you enjoy your visit

kingdong, you've got serious anger management issues, what part of "fully fledged bluebird" did you not grasp.
Wecome to the board Makaay.
I can't promise but I have a season ticket which I may or may not use due to work commitments and the fact that I'm an exile. Obviously I'll have a better idea nearer the time so feel free to PM me your contact details closer to the time and we'll see.

I know it's a long shot but you have nothing to lose if you contact the club and tell them what you've told us here! Who knows? ....The club may try and out out something for you or keep you a ticket aside if you give the date soon enough. It would be good publicity for the club after all and we know all clubs welcome tabloid headlines.
Another way would be to get all your mates to buy you a box for the day as a suprise or even pay for you to be a mascot for the day.
Long shots i know mate but I hope you sort something out.
Welcome and good luck.

Welcome. As mentioned above, the only sure-fire way of securing a ticket for next season is by posting a picture of your wife/girlfriend on the Babes and Boobs thread. When you then contact the ticket office, they will check to see if you have put a genuine picture up and if so, let you pay for a ticket. So they know its a genuine pic and seeing as you are in Ireland and you are a Bluebird, get your wife to die her muff blue and then shave it so it looks like a leprechauns beard. Just to be sure, you may also want to place a potato next to her clacker. That way they'll know its not just photo of anybody. We look forward to seeing you at the CCS next season and also to the candid shots of your splendid Irish Blue Beardy-Muffed Potato-Clacker themed wife.

Cheers for the welcome most of u. Glory fan? Lol seriously if I was a glory fan I'd not support cardiff lads. I grew up a Liverpool fan as most ppl here do that or a Man U fan. I never said I've never seen cardiff live what I said was I never seen US in Cardiff. As fit the carling cup final I roared n shouted for us sittin the middle of a pub full of Liverpool fans. N I cried at the playoff final defeat by Blackpool in the very same pub. Believ what you like but I love the club.

Has the new guy posted a picture of his wifes clacker yet as the Clacker Ticket allocation is running low?
Wed May 15, 2013 7:38 pm
Maakay, I think that some tickets will be on general sale for every home game. Just keep a close check on the tickets page of the official club website. Congratulations on your nuptials, and hope you enjoy your visit over here
