I don't think he's a bad option for the last twenty, he's committed and tries to get his head on everything.

Malky will be as ruthless as he needs to be. No time for sentiment in football. He's nowhere near the top 10 strikers in the championship, never mind the premiership.![]()
I'd be committed and try to get my head on everything.. Doesn't make me good enough though!

He's just offered McNaughton a new deal so there must be sentiment
Don't get me wrong we all know Rudy ain't the best
But my opinion is he'll be the Target man.

Why is that sentimental? He would have only offered a contract to someone if he feels they would benefit the team. Otherwise we would be offering McPhail a new contract too.![]()
My opinion is that if we are using Rudy a lot next season, we will be back in the Championship at first attempt.

So you think McNaughton is a top class full back then?
I don't, the fans sing his name! New deal for him! You say no sentiment?

I think he will be a fantastic back up as he can play LB, RB & CB. Useful to have around the squad. Nothing sentimental about it. So what if the fans sing his name? I don't see Malky singing it...

I don't see me blaming Rudy there.I said if we used him a lot, we would be down straight away. This is because I feel he isn't good enough. If we are using him then we won't have a strong enough squad to compete and will be relegated.
This will be the manager's fault for not strengthening enough.
Quite simple to understand for most.

How is him being useful around the squad a sentiment? What a load of garbage!
He's great back up for either LB or RB - it's a bonus that he can play CB too, not that I'd be too happy about seeing him there. I'd struggle to find another backup player that would be so flexible.
Nothing at all sentimental about that.
I think you need to look up the definition of sentiment.

Offering him a new deal because he's a utility man and good around the squad isn't being ruthless,
We need a lot better than him!

Stop digging. You were wrong & you know it.I used him as an EXAMPLE as he was the one being discussed. Quite simple, even to the academically challenged.

If Rudy is going to be a major part of our squad next season, we will go down as it means the squad will not be good enough to compete.
Surely that's simple enough to understand, even for you.

You didn't put it in writing Chucks, so you were wrong just admit it for once. Now it's down in writing we don't have a problem, but in the first place it wasn't, now that has got to be simple enough for even you to understand![]()
