Looks like Villa and Sunderland next season, goodbye Wigan.

Gutted for Wigan after winning the FA Cup, but it's about time they're down.

I hope we can snatch a player or 2 off them. Al Habsi maybe?

Maloney's decent, too. McManaman would be my first choice, but I'm sure a much bigger team will be after the lad.

I reckon that if Martinez gets offered the Everton job now, he'll be gone! :D

maloney and mcmanaman would be great additions, but as you say, mcmanman would be wanted by one of the bigger clubs.

After so many seasons of last ditch saves from relegation,Wigans luck finally runs out.

Well done to Aston Villa and there very young side on surviving in the Prem.

Roberto will have a big decision now, Wigan in Europe and Championship or Everton and the Premier league.

Everton are in Europe aswell aren't they though?

It is easy for Martinez, you have 46 games next year on top of that they have 3 competitions with Wigan.. If he is loyal then fp.

No 5th place for Europe this season as the FA and League Cup places went to the winners.

Wigan have a tough task and I think they won't be straight back up.

Some of you have a lot to learn about the PL and Europe. #clueless

I think it's all down hill for Wigan from here.

Europe will mess up any challenge for autos next year.

Any good players from their euro campaign will be snapped up.

Then the parachute payments begin to dry up and iirc Wigan have quite a bit of debt anyways.

If that was aimed at me then jog on.. Always thought 5th and 6th got Europa League unless they changed the rules over the past few years.

I believe it could be worse than this. Wouldn't surprise me if they didn't get relegated next year as well, commonly known as "Doing a Wolves." That Euro shite will not help them either.

The only thing that could keep them up is their parachute payments.

I would rather enjoy top half premier league football and winning at Wembley, the Emirates, Stamford Bridge, anfield than enjoy a construction project each to their own though.

Get down swansea bay then the new university looks like a massive project. We play with a football you lads prefer playing with lego. Strange bunch.
You do realise how insignificant 10, 000 extra seats are to the fortunes of a premier league club?
