This is typical management vacancy betting.
Someone is touted and all the gamblers lump on thinking they're in early then odds drop. Someone else gets touted because his team just lost in the play offs so is obviously being approached, everyone lumps on and his odds drop.
So on and so forth, I'm sure the bookies start all the rumours.
