Identity or Tan?

You cant have both. Be realistic.

Tan comes with conditions - red home kit, not a nice badge, money invested and respect to him.

The blue identity comes with conditions - Tan finds new investor, that could go good or bad so there is a risk, etc.

Tan has said this himself during his speech, 'we will be red at home'. That is all there is to it. Straight from his mouth that we will be red during his time here.

Therefore, by default, whether you like it or not, if you want blue back you want Tan gone as blue is not coming back unless Tan is gone.

So, which would you choose? You may want both but sometimes in life you dont get what you want. Thats life.

You have to also put into account that we wouldnt be in the premier league. So the choice should be Tan and the Premier League or blue kit, old badge, financial insecurity and the championship.

Forgetting which are realasitic and which arent for a second, this would be my order of choice...


1. Cardiff playing in the Premier League AND an owner that let's us play in blue with old badge
2. Cardiff playing in any division, no matter how low, AND an owner that let's us play in blue with old badge
3. Cardiff playing in the Premier League AND an owner that makes us play in red with new badge
4. Cardiff playing in any division, no matter how low, AND an owner that makes up playing red with new badge

I realise that only 2 (if Tan were to quit) and 3 (which is where we are now) are realistic as things stand


The short answer to your question James, is that I would take blue over Tan any day of the week.

When did Tan change our name then, Cardiff City fc isn't that our identity, or have I been watching somebody else for the last 46yrs. And no question about it Tan is the man for our club
