If Malky did go can you see us looking to bring him in as a replacement?

His odds have fallen dramatically. 2nd favourite for Everton job with Betfair.

I put a fiver on Poyet @ 33/1 last week to get the Everton job.

Cannot see why Poyet would be appointed straight into a top Premiership job. He has very little managerial experience at the top level.

Worked as an assistant at Tottenham and he has been with Brighton since 2009. Taken Brighton to the play offs this season but thats it.

I wasnt aware of this stat but i heard it on Talksport this morning, when Brighton have gone behind in a game they havent come back to win since their game against Doncaster, it was the first game of the season the season before last!!!

I certainly would'nt want to see a manager who cant motivate a team to come back from behind at our club for the season we are about to face, Everton would be most welcome to him.

Whilst I'm hoping and expecting Malky to stay, Poyet and Di Matteo would be my ideal candidates for the job.

Saying that, Malky got the job over Di Matteo in the first place.
