Just came across this.
Who went there from this forum? I was just 16 at the time so didn't go. Was at the home game though.
What are people's memories from this trip?

I'm actually in that photo, in the centre up the top with the striped tshirt, just about the only one not in a city shirt. I had to explain myself to my boss on my return and state I wasn't involved in hooligan activity. Was an eventful trip, I got pushed in to the swimming pool in our hotel in Namur on our return several beers after the game, broke my specs and my camera and if I recollect some idiots rom our coach broke the wave machine in the pool too.

I went great trip

Stayed Brussels the night before the game and travelled to liege on the train the next day all was going well until the hellsiders came out to play and Cardiff were all over them like rash and for 2 hours leading up to the match was utter mayhem

I was there - got stopped from boarding the ferry at Dover because a few hundred Arsenal fans were also boarding - ended up sleeping on a window ledge in Ostend whilst we waited for a connection. The wife says I'll sleep anywhere - I think she has a point

Long forgotten the name of the place though. Great memory!
Rumour was it was £25k worth of damage?!

I was in the hotel opposite the station, always remember ending up in some town after game as they
tried on mass to deported us, jeff the copper was great told them all our clothes passports
were in liege and they had to take us back.
