I think he is genuinely looking for a new challenge. I doubt he has been "tapped up" by anyone, he knows that he will be in high demand if he does decide to leave.

If he came here the club would be able to use Parkins old training kit for the fat tw*t

He'd need a face transplant aswell as his hair transplant to play for us.

Bayern Munich were favourites to sign him the other day. The way he's played this season he'd struggle to get in that side

Only three UK teams are going to give him his £250k + per week and they are Man City, Chelsea, and of course Man united

He submitted the request two weeks before Fergie retired...
It's obviously because he's not played the big games this year and he's been taken off in games even when he's making an impact. I think he'd just lost faith in Fergie. Wouldn't surprise me to see him sty in Moyes convinces him he's a key player.

I don't think he was tapped up. Second time he has handed in a transfer request at united.
Never lived up to expectations and united should replace him anyway.

I guess that's what you expected of him. Thought he would be world class.

I honestly think he is too thick to go overseas
London he'd probably be homesick for his Scallie Chav mates

He would not cope abroad.
Can you imagine Rooney sat in a suit in a posh restaurant in Paris eating frogs legs whilst sipping Champagne?
More chance of him playing FIFA, munching on a chinese takeaway and playing knock knock run in the local estate in a Nike tracksuit.

Rooney is world class, you can't deny that.
