Best Pubs

Mon May 13, 2013 11:58 am

Morning gents,

Bluebird travelling from Norfolk for a weekend in Cardiff, 8 men on a reunion/stag do, aged 30-60. What are the best pubs to frequent during the day? What are the best pubs during the evening? Thanks.

Hope to see a lot of you in Norwich next season.......... :ayatollah:

Alot of Hen and stags groups use the pubs on Mary street the 'prince of Wales' being very popular. There is the brewery quarter just opposite the prince of Wales and the very popular Mill lane.

If its a nice day Cardiff Bay is popular for eating and drinking in the sunshine.

Missoula on friday everything half price between 5 and 9, either St Mary st (flares good for your age group) or Mill lane in evening, i personally like the Live lounge for live music all day/night :ayatollah: or if you fancy some :malky: fisting pop along to Pulse where you'l see our mod Gavin giving boozy winks at the bar ;)

Proper pubs for men, in the city centre, are:

The Goat Major on High Street;
The Old Arcade on Church Street;
The City Arms on Quay Street.

There's always the Whitchurch pub crawl if you fancy something a bit more suburban. The Fox and Hounds, Plough, Royal Oak, Fino Lounge, Maltsters, Three Elms, Three Horseshoes and Aneurin Bevan. A small bit of walking between the Three Elms and Three Horseshoes but all good banter. :ayatollah:
