Kenwright did state he would consult with the fans.

stats like this can be misleading, Laudrup is out of it, and everyone that voted for him could have Malky as their second choice. if they all knew that and then revoted malky could be on over 37%

They are the reluctant ones.

Well Laudrup isn't going, so like has been said it's not really a true reflection of who they want. I'm guessing a lot of those who'd want Laudrup, given a second choice would go for Pereira as he's the most similar to him and it's hard to tell what it would actually look like without him. Also with the other option being so high, it could be 7% of those who chose other wanted Roberto Di Matteo for example and he'd be the fans choice or it could be that there was 10 or so managers chosen all with under a 1% share of the votes.

The lack of general awareness on here is amazing.
We have world renowned names and Malky Mackay on a list and we expect Everton fans to vote for Malky, have they even seen us play ? If i have to chose an untested premier league manager I would pick Zola.
If Malky goes how many would vote for Brian Flynn ? Done wonders at Donny.
No you would want a bigger name with more experience.
If Kenwright listens to Moyes then he is on the short list, if he is listening to the fans (as if) then Malky doesn't get an interview.
