I'd be very surprised if Everton would choose Malky

Sun May 12, 2013 11:33 pm

Because IMO they can attract better managers now than during the days of when Moyes took over.

more than many would think especially as there's a possible Middle Eastern takeover about to happen there

Agree there Adam.

The talk is Moyes and Mackay being identical in their attributes. David Moyes arguably took Everton as far as he could. Do they think Malky could take them further?

I'd say not in this moment in time. He needs to prove himself first

That's been possible for a long time now and hasn't happened. They have to plan for now and not if something happens.

Malky was who Moyes recommended.

As of now, they are in for Martinez first.

People are forgetting that Everton were relegation fodder when Moyes took over and there was only ex-players (Kendell, Royle) who love the club had the heart to take the managers job at the time because the then chairman Peter Johnson was a kunt. Fast forward a few years and the club is stable finanically and the club is in a far better footing to help attract better managers IMO

It's been rumoured for over a year and still nothing solid from anyone.

They can't plan and spend large in hope. Reality they have to deal with the present which means limited budget.
