Safe to say that no manager turns down a bigger club these days.

Not really but no doubt he would speak with them as any person would do when offered a good job.

Judging by his comments he's up for a move, oh well, lets see what happens

Totally agree

I didnt get that Gavin, certainly not "up for a move" but he spoke about his respect for us and what he's building

It depends what's said in the interview about the job. I've gone to interviews and felt the job wasn't for me and turned it down. It's not unusual practice.

It was your typical comment you get from a player linked with a move,
Eg: I'm committed and focusing on my current club blah blah'
The fact he didn't say NO worrys me, the fact that Laudrup didn't say no on the show reassured me a little since I'm fairly certain that he isn't leaving Swansea, perhaps not saying no is the polite thing to do.
I just hope this situation resolves itself ASAP

Couldn't be less positive about what Malky said.
Put it this way, there's only two scenarios - either he wants it or he doesnt.
Scenario 1 - If he does then he will keep his options open and not deny it without disrespecting Cardiff (which is what he does).
Scenario 2 - If he doesn't want it, he would have just denied it when Lineker asked because why would he make out there's even a slight chance if he didnt want it?

Defo didn't turn it down, looked a little guilty, does he know already???
I thought Everton would want a more experienced manager, but what with the visit to Everton, and the ManU succession planning, I wonder if Malky has been lined up also???
Time will tell I guess, Martinez would be a better choice than Malky, for Everton, it could be interesting.....

I wouldn't go as far as to say he knows already, however his reaction indicated that he was interested in being considered for the post, that indicates to me that if he were offered the job, he would take it. I still don't think he will be offered it though, Everton would be mad not to offer Martinez the job. At this stage a far safer bet than Malky.

I think the only thing stopping him from moving is the timing, taking a team up to the top flight for the first time in 51 years? He knows its bad timing, plus he wants to earn some stripes to even go for a bigger club, which is well within his grasp....look at Brenda, half the man of Malky. Brenda is Danny Di Vito, Malky is Arnie!

Has he been sounded out?? Usually clubs will sound out a few potentials and then decide based on who's up for it, they will need a few in case their first second and third choices turn them down flat, fingers crossed I am just over analysing things
