Bbc states he's about to be sacked....

Why not stick with him for another season and hope for disruption at United? They've shot themselves in the foot here, and Benitez going, tell ya what put an couple of quid on Arsenal to win the league next season, gotta be worth a punt with decent odds

Shit manager. Overrated, anyone could win a league with that amount of money

All depends on what money they spend this year.

Lots of talk they actually have cash this year so will be very interesting. Will hopefully be the tightest title race for quite a few years!

I've just taken 16/1 on the gunners to win the Premier, bit of a outside chance but hopefully disruption elsewhere may help me out.

Man City should have pushed on this year and instead have gone massively backwards. Wasted money on the likes of Garcia and Rodwell.

I don't understand why their owners sanctioned £50 million on transfers but refused to allow Mancini to spend it on one or two good players that would improve the squad properly rather than forcing him to buy second rate players.

I fully blame the owners/transfer people for Man City's poor season rather than Mancini. Still don't like him and will enjoy him being sacked though.

Since the money came flooding in you could count the good signings they have made on one hand (they have probably signed 20-30 players).

I don't think they are gonna win the league Nukes, but at 16/1 and the off chance of disruption elsewhere it's worth my £20 stake

He wanted RVP but he chose united instead. Good choice imo. The only top players Man City can sign are outcasts like Yaya or those top players at smaller clubs like Silva and Aguero.

Any player would choose United over City if the terms were the same, the only reason they'd choose city would be £££.
How much did they spend on Gareth Barry? Lescott? Mugs. Glad they didn't win the league or cup.

If they dropped Milner and Barry, they'd be doing a lot better

What is all the hate for Milner and Barry? :?

They can't play a whole team of flair players...

Everybody suggesting that Man City only sign second rate players like 'Barry, Lescott and Milner' need to actually start watching these players. Last season all three were absolutely crucial in their title win. Lescott was one of their best players last year, Barry one of their most consistent and Milner has probably been their most consistent player over the past 2 years and heavily relied on by Mancini.

They have a squad with talen in abundance and probably should have put a better challenge to United this year. If you look at Aguero, Silva and Tevez stats this year compared to last year and you will see why they have failed. All three have scored and created 1/3 less than they did last year and all three are very influencial players.

They failed in the transfer market at the start of the season and it has cost them. Mancini will go and his replacement, Pellegrini, has a very very good record in Spain and is very highly thought of. Could be a very wise move for City and if they give their new boss some cash, they will be a force again next year.

Last 6 games form table, Arsenal getting their act together. I know current form will mean nothing next season but worth £20 @16/1 in my opinion.

no way will arsenal win the league.
man city stupid to sack mancini, was it his fault the directors let RVP slip through there fingers and end up at man utd? no
if RVP had gone to city like mancini insisted they would have won the league easily. If Jose goes back to chelsea i reckon they will win the league next season. Or maybe a newly promoted club will stun everyone
