Why Malky won't go.

Of course, I could be wrong. But we know he weighs up everything before making a decision.

FINANCE: I don't think Everton are any more financially better off than us. Bill Kenwright is almost certainly less wealthy than Vincent Tan. Although they have a wide and established fan base, it is widely accepted that they badly need a new stadium, which we already have.

PLAYERS: yes, they have better players than us at present but we know that the best of those will be heading to Old Trafford with him.

LOYALTY: Yes, I know there isn't much in football these days, but you have to consider that Malky is a team - he has brought a back room staff with him who have moved themselves and their families to South Wales to take part in Malky's dream. I think he will consider the impact on those people, who may have to move for the second time in less than 2 years to go with him, or else risk redundancy and replacement if they stay.

For what it's worth, I think it is too early for him to replace Moyes at Everton. However, after Moyes messes up at Man United, Malky will take over from him there. :malky:

Everton sell Felaini and Baines then he has a bigger budget and a better pre-existing squad than us.

They will stay in the Prem next year whereas we have at best a 50/50 shot at it.

The only factor that is likley to keep Malky here is VT. VT is here for the long haul, Bill Kenwright isn't. He wants to sell the club asap and if he can new owners is not something Malky is keen on.

If loyalty was a factor he surely would have stayed at Watford. He may feel that he has taken Cardiff as far as he can. It's pretty clear the club see 17th place as the target next year but he would have bigger targets to aim for at Everton or Celtic.

Can't see him going to Celtic, as he may as well retire from club football and become an international manager!
