If we lose Malky i think Fergie would make an ideal replacement,thoughts...

Only if he brings his dad as his assistant

Unproven , not good with a tight budget
No premier league experience
3 promotions
3 relegations
Sacked twice in 3 years
Living off his fathers name IMO

Wouldn't touch him unless we were a league 1 team again

How can you say not good with a tight budget! his budget is probably closer to Newport's than it is to ours. Yes they went down but when your in a league with teams whose one year parachute payment is more than he'll have in 10 years it's not surprising.

Personally I'd like us to go for Chris Powell. Charlton seem to be a club heading in the right direction with him a the helm and I think he has a similar ethic to Malky.

Plays attractive football on low budget,
Has good contacts,
Gets the best out of his players

I'd like us to go for Powell as well, good young manager. Hopefully though Malky will stay.

Ferguson is ok but not great, great managers dont get relegated no matter what the circumstances IMO.

Peterborough have spent a highly considerable amount of money, I think they spent around 2.5m on Barnett?
