His job was to Get Cardiff in the Premier league.
He has Done that.

He would be foolish to turn down a massive club to stay here.

Everton are stagnant

History is good but their future is bleak. No money, club has been for sale for about 3 years. They are a midtable team at best who, due to Moyes have been punching above their weight.

Trouble is, I bet he knows in the back of his mind that if he stays at City and we start shit. Vincent will get rid of him before Xmas.
Therefore his better option would be a 5 or 6 year deal with Everton.
Even if they finish mid table, the club could say he's work in progress and creating a new long term future.
Let's face it, they've enough quality not to go down even if Baines follows Moyes to Utd.
If he does go, then City should go for either Redknapp, O'Neil or Powell.
The longer their is a silence from the man himself, it only looks more likely he's leaving. If he was quick to rubbish the rumours and show his commitment, then this should have been done ages ago.
Personally, I think City need better to stay in the Prem with the current squad they have. 'Passhun' alone won't keep us up no matter how many crowd pleasing fist pumps he does. Tactically he's weak (shuts shop too early) and too much hoofball or reliance on winning ugly. Yet to understand why he's intent on destroying what was our main threat (Whitts) by playing him so deep and of lesser danger to our opposition. Then when it didn't work, because he's not suited to the role, he's then dropped to the bench. Nuts. Completely nuts.

If he goes he goes. We must get better, next appointment will be vital, we can get someone for stability or we can get someone who wants to take us to the next level.
