Rangers won't be in the premier for another 3 seasons so all he can do is stagnate there.
He can't achieve anything because my nan would be expected to win the league and cup with the competition Celtic play week in week out.
No top premier league club would look at him if he was at Celtic whilst he can only further enhance his reputation by staying with us and making us a mid table premier club.

I'm with you, even Champions League football does not make up for the bread and butter that is the SPL. They did get to the group stages last year though.

As you said Carl - Coyle was offered the Celtic job before,the reasons you give are correct,along with his family did not want to move north. - He gave an interview on this less than a month ago on Sky.
