Zaha quality last night

Sat May 11, 2013 8:54 am

Anyone watch the palace brighton game last night? For those who don't rate zaha you should have watched last night. Skinned his man and ran past players a few differant occasions and put the ball into the box on a plate to finish twice. I think he gets special attention in the championship because of his ability but in the premiership he would have lots more time on the ball and chances to run at players and cause havoc with defences. Be a great signing for us on loan imo if it would be possible.

He was orite, still lost the ball on plenty of occasions and his crossing wernt to good. He has skills but hes far from the complete player, dont think hes the type of player malky would want

I thought he was poor? Really poor! Most overrated player in the Championship

He wernt uo to much last nite, jonathon williams was the best player i reckon

Re: Zaha quality last night

Zaha and Williams were anonymous for most of last night.

Thought Bridcut and Buckley were two best players on show by a mile.

Williams was palace best playa i meant, bridcutt was MOTM tho he bossed the midfield

Pretty much what I thought of him. And at one point I was wondering if he had ice-skates on as he slipped & fell over so often.

Zaha was so bad in the first half that I forgot he was playing, Wayne Bridge had Zaha in his pocket again just like he did at ours in March. Cauldron who was playing left back in for our injured Bruno had picked up a yellow and could not afford to be sent off as we'd be stuffed for the 2nd leg so Holloway put Zaha on the left in the second and Cauldron made Zaha look class.

Cauldron is a division1 player or bottom end on championship standered at best. If Brigde has Zaha in his pocket all the time then pretty sure Zaha is going to find it really tough in the premiership against world class defenders,

I do apologize for me not spelling one of my players name correctly but having a massive hangover I didn't re-check my grammar to see if there is any errors but in future will double check my spelling before I post.

Thank you for pointing it our sir.

Wayne Bridge bossed that left side, Zaha barely got a sniff. Put up against a guy on a yellow who couldnt put a challenge in, reckon anyone couldve got passed him based on last night

Zaha was bloody awful for the most part last night. Wayne Bridge destroyed him in the first half, whilst Bridcutt out shined him in the second.

Totally overrated. Would much prefer to see Tom Ince in a City shirt. :D

Well I agree first half zaha didn't do nothing but second half he was on form , the commentators on sky seemed to think so aswell. Didnt see Williams do alot though and he missed a sitter when zaha put it on a plate for him so don't know how ppl say he was one the best players on there.

Don't know what game you were watching but apart from a couple of occasions Zaha was anonymous. £15 million wasted by Man Utd in my opinion. Fergie was clearly already starting to lose it when he bought him.

I know what I seen but obviously the way I read the game and players is differant to you and others who disagree with me. He wasn't amazing ronaldo like no, but second half his quality did shine through in patches.
And Fergy losing it already? Wake up he won the league by a massive margin pal

Won the league alright but signs last season that pressure got to him. Couldn't even come out for press conference after Real Madrid defeat. Writing was on the wall for me that he would finish this year once he realised he did not have a team to equal Paisleys 3 European Cups record.

Would you say zaha is anywhere near sum1 like even nani ? I think their worlds apart, if you think zaha is class then you need to lay off the 2 drag pass

Not near nanis standard at the moment no. But watching him you can see the potential he got and raw talent and quality, just need to work with him and try and make him progress and reach his potential. But if you can't see he got potential to be a star you might wanna lay off the crack pipe aswell my friend

I'd go for this and the post that says Zaha was shite.

He's decent when on form but if he's a £15million player then our squad is worth £100 million.

Lol he has potential but how you described his game friday was way off the mark

looked good tonight. Better team won. Brighton were really poor.

Took his goals well and the wankfest will begin.

He performed in a big game and when the chances come he took them.

The lad has some potential but has a long way to go yet.

The cross from Bolasie was something else but Bridge got caught out big time.

Well lads you know what they say. Top players score important goals and zaha is a top player imo and if people don't see his quality and don't think he would be a good player for us I think your mad :old: :ayatollah:
