To join a club that has spent just 11 million over the past decade, a club which Moyes will raid for Baines and possibly head the ball Fellaini leaving Everton with mediocre players.

Everton will not give their next manager a big transfer kitty as they have received no compensation for this managerial merry go round as Moyes contract is up.

In my opinion and I hope to God I am right is that Malky will see at least the 1st season through in the premier league with us.

moreover, most managers see the chance to manage a premier league club as a highlight of their career, its certainly a step up from the SPL, so why would he go backwards? sure celtic are a huge club and his team but he is ambitious so it would be a bad move at this time i reckon.

You got me there, I just did a trawl on their transfers, they have actually spent a fair bit but they have had to sell their prized assests to spend. That 11m was a stat that was mentioned on Sky either I took it up wrong or they got their stats wrong.

Last season they sold Rodwelll for 15m
Season before Arteta for 10m and Beckford for 4m
09/10 they sold lescott for 22m

Everton are a club that can not afford to turn down offers for their best players and in all fairness Moyes has done an incredible job considering he has had to sell his best players every season almost!
