What will VT do?

Will Vincent Tan follow Malky to Everton (if he goes)?
What about backroom staff and players (existing/prospective)?

we will have another rebrand then, as red wasnt lucky enough to keep Malky...

Dont worry, he will take a cup of medicinal tea made from powdered tiger cock and lunch on the bladder of a poisonous puffer fish, and that will undo the bad Everton karma

Think Kim would be the only player Malky would be interested in. Maybe he could do us a favour and buy Velikonja for £5m. Losing all the back room staff would be a bigger problem but maybe a new manager would have his own people anyway. Lets hope it doesn't happen.

The Jacks went through all this and came out stronger, and with the will of Allah , Vincent will guide us through these choppy, nut not UN-nagavitable waters

Ask Sam(sigh)
Possibly ask our most senior players, i.e. Bellamy(close with Tan) and Hudson. Then might ask Mourinho who to go for.

We're actually screwed on the recruitment of a manager, no football people on our boardroom staff.

 Ah, but the tower may open up and imprison the dragon, leaving the bluebird to fly high and think oh f**k, what will I do now? So we may rebrand to look like Arsenal with a gun on the badge to blow the tower thing away, thus, if we haven't also blown the arse off the dragon, he can be free again to fly high with the bluebird, problem is though, the bluebird, so upset that the dragon was imprisoned had, by this time developed a heroin problem to cope with his loss.

Everton have been effectively up for sale for years and their owners/fans would jump at the chance of having a backer like Mr Tan. Unfortunately
1.their debt is I believe much bigger than ours
2. they need a new ground
3. I think a change to red might be a touch problematic

According to their club accounts they have debt of £45m. Our debt is closer to £100m

Not how I remembered it but if that's what their accounts say. Don't forget though that a large proportion of CCFC debt is in effect internal investment by Mr Tan (please don't start an argument on that!)and I would also say that the CCFC debt includes for the cost of a new ground which Everton have been trying to get for years and simply can't afford.

I won't start an argument as long as you realise it's still a debt and he won't reduce that debt unless he can extract what he is owed in some other way.

Initially, Vincent Tan will take a gamble by 'floating' the club on the Asian Stock Markets. This will be a calculated risk for him, as it will wipe out the club's debt and mean he (VT) will need to ensure the club's success in order to make any financial gains :ayatollah:

For us (the supporters and the club) this would be a massive plus, as the alternative to 'success' would mean VT doing a Rick Wright and simply walking away :?

He (VT) is financially astute and won't do that without a 'return', so the future for us in the short/medium term is very rosy (assuming you don't believe we will win The Champions League in our second season) ;) :ayatollah:

I realise he hasn't put money in for fun.He has made an investment. The debt rout has been the most tax efficient and sensible given the Langston business. With promotion this year he has in effect bought a Premier League club on the cheap with all the spin off's he can generate through his other businesses.
My prediction is that if we stay up this season (or even after sorting out Sam)he will sell part of his ownership to other major investors and/or float the club in the far east.Perhaps the latter will follow after step1.I believe this is the driving force behind the re-brand.His investment strategy has been fairly straightforward really.Look back to TG's original letter explaining the change.

maybe Tan also goes to Everton as he feels theres plenty to rebrand on the blue side of the Mersey... 8-)

then he will go and purchase more clubs until we have an all-red premiership
