The future of seven-times Welsh Premier champions Barry Town is uncertain after owner Stuart Lovering withdrew them from the Welsh League, BBC Sport Wales understands.
The move came amid a dispute between Lovering and Barry's supporters committee.
Lovering owns the club, but the supporters committee run it.
Barry Town were scheduled to host Ton Pentre on Tuesday night, but it was called off at short notice.
A Ton Pentre website statement said: "The issues between the Barry Town Supporters Committee and the Club's owner Stuart Lovering have been well documented."
The Football Association of Wales has been monitoring the Barry situation.
A group of fans remained at Jenner Park for 90 minutes on Tuesday night to protest against owner Lovering.
Barry manager Gavin Chesterfield tweeted: "Thanks for all your messages of support, remember this is not a result of any actions of my players or supporters."
Barry Town, who were relegated from Welsh football's top-flight in 2004, reached this season's Welsh Cup semi-final where they lost to eventual winners Prestatyn Town.
