I reckon that we need 11 wins and 10 draws at a minimum to stay in the league, can we do it?
I think it's essential that just like this year we make CCS a fortress. On that note, more than ever the club and supporters need to work together in creating a safe but intimidating atmosphere for visiting teams, I hope that the club does everything in it's power to enable our supporters to get behind the team, that means a softly, softly approach to standing IMO. It's no coincidence that the last few games has seen stewards leaving supporters alone, to stand and sing the team onto promotion.
I would also like to see the club work with supporters groups in creating banners/flags for all areas of the ground. There must be safety issues that prevent letting fans turn up with large flags on sticks, however, would it not be a good idea to have, appointed, flag bearers in various sections around the ground, flags could be stored at the ground and brought out and returned before and after games. If only responsible and chosen supporters were allowed these flags then the safety aspect should be covered.
I know that most are against drums or bands, so what else can be done to get our crowd going? We have shown over the last few games that we can create an excellent atmosphere at CCS, I would love to see that continue and get even better, as in the coming season we are going to need it like never before.
