Reflecting on this weekend's fixtures in The Championship I have to say that one of the stand out features was its honesty and integrity
Nine (of twelve) fixtures had something 'riding' on them and every team played their part in ensuring that none of the affected teams at the top or the bottom could take a breath for the whole 90 minutes and beyond.
For me, the two stand out teams of the day were Champions Cardiff and our old adversaries Dirty Leeds, where neither team gave an inch and produced huge performances when it would have been so easy to have an eye on the beach
Personally, I would have preferred Udinese to get that second spot but at least it ensured the natives were friendly on Saturday night
How typical our own 'old boy' Ross McCormack scored the winner but I sincerely congratulate Hull City FC (and will 'root' for either Brighton in the play-offs)
