When the dust settles ..Who is good enough

To hack it in the premiership - my thoughts are

Marshall
Turner or Hudson - not both
Noone - squad player
Mutch
Gunnar - Squad player
Kim
Mason - Squad Player
Maynard - IF he stays fit
Campbell - IF he stays fit
Bellers
Whitts - squad player
Connolly - squad player

I'd say Marshall, Hudson and Bellamy providing he can hack the pace of the prem and a fella i work with reckons kim is talented but gives the ball away a lot - you cannot do that in the Prem. I don't see why Campbell would hack it when he hasn't up until this point. He has like 7 goals in 80 odd games at that level.

Time will tell but we have lots of relatively young players who could really flourish. Nobody gave the jacks much hope and the first season they didn't sign many. If you went through their team that got promoted I doubt you would have picked many out. No strikers of note, and I don't think somebody like Britton would have been tipped to do well.

Past records don't necessarily mean too much either. No reason why Campbell or Maynard won't score as kong as the system suits them and we create of course. Routeledge had never done it in the PL but played well for the jacks.

Besides, lets see who we sign before worrying about it too much. MM got us there so he will be the best judge of what we need :malky:

I think noone could surprise us. He's a good footballer and the prem isn't as physical as the championship so that will benefit him.

Marshall, gunners, mutch, witts, Bellers, Kim.

Jury's out on our center defence as it turns like the titanic and goes as fast as it sails these days.

Maynards a gamble as nobody knows how he will be after such an injury, but he has a point to prove after west ham thought he wasn't good enough for the prem. Campbell must be a gamble as he's hardly been fit for a few years now,is he going to be another wes brown? Lots of potential but always injured?!

Mason needs a loan for a season starting in the championship.

But I think if we change more than 3/4 players in the team it could be to many changes at once a bit like QPR.
