Immigration

Thu May 02, 2013 7:08 pm

Too many of the bastards here, send them home. Our schools, hospitals and housing cannot cope. They come here for the soft touch we are, give them a house and all the benefits in the world. Take a trip down Albany Road or Merthyr to see the extent of the problem.

Had enough now, close the borders Dave and send the lazy ones home.

Yet another victim of Labour brainwashing.

We did need them at one point. They came over in their droves and helped to build Britain whether it be at the docks/ports or on the roads. West Indians, Somali's, Irish and so forth. Then a new breed come along and gave them a bad name and don't do one bit of work in this country. I know old time immigrants myself who are more racist than any white British person you'll ever meet.

They never will either because they live in a land of delusion. The cabinet is made up of all British Vincent Tan's living in their own dream world and the only language they talk is money.

Our wishes have been ignored, its horrific in some parts of Cardiff, a complete alien country to what I once new. Know the old Caribbean dockers, they worked facking hard and improved their lives while improve the new country they find themselves in. Soon Bulgarians and Romanians will be flocking into this country, they won't come here for work because there aren't any jobs here for them.

It makes no sense.

Re: Immigration

People that come here for the NHS are criminal. Britain is a country which offers refugees etc to come here while their country solves their problems. Could you imagine if other countries that the great British controlled decided to send British based people back, there would be no room. When immigrants come they bring new skills and values, ideas and so forth, many have a great work ethic. And there are many British based people who are on the doll themselves. If you didn't know Britain is an ageing population and therefore needs to increase their population by allowing immigrants to come here, that's what I've learnt in geography, I'm mixed race and am in the middle aha!

I would personally like to see something similar to Australia's Immigration Policy introduced and only allow entry to those who will benefit the UK in a professional/trade/business manner.

Saying that, I'm sure there are a good number of Brits I'd love to send in the opposite direction.

have to agree, i have looked into moving to Oz, and they make sure that if you go there, you will contribute to society in terms of taxes and filling jobs that are in demand, as well as ensuring you have competence in the language so you integrate more easily.

problem here is that we've no control over EU immigration, and that we have no pride in ourselves as a nation, or at least the people in power dont.

dont worry though, if more people like me leave you'll get plenty of romanians to plug the gap! ;)

Is this the Daily Mail forum? You realise that only a small percentage of imigrants live of the state? The majority is made up of 'lazy' British nationals.

THEY WANT TO STOP THEMSELVES HAVING A VOICE!!

Any party that wants in the EU is a joke.

Whilst a stupid amount is spent on the EU every day as a term and condition of membership these same people cry for more investment in the NHS, transport system and for money to be invested to help with youth unemployment. For all of that to happen their must be borrowing which continues taking us down the crap hole.

Love how the Tories are spouting cuts cuts cuts yet we are still borrowing.

You may be right to say that. But we can't afford the lazy white indigenous Briish nationals, that is why we need stricter immigaration controls, it makes no sense to allow so many into the country who cant and wont contribute, to society.
Also many soon realise that the way to get bigger housing and more benefits is to have more babies who they see as a cash voucher just like the lazy white British underclass.

Labour let too many in for a few reasons ............A) They will pretty much all vote Labour B) Labour couldn't afford to upset all the benefit cheats by making them work. No matter how milliband positions himself with *hard talk' on immigration, It is just posturing and this Ukip surge proves that the british public are not fooled. Milliband is doomed as a leader at the next general election :D

I myself come from immigrant stock mate, be it from Ireland. The difference is those that came over THEN at a tough time needlessly. They came here to work and better their lives while bettering the country they live in. This new breed of muslims want to enforce their rule of law on us, they want to do what they want when they want and half of them hate our country!! We let them march the streets and burn poppies yet let them join the dole queue.

The first wave of Romanian and Bulgarians coming into this country may contain a lot of hard working vote but there will be a strong criminal element in that and they will be looking to make a huge amount of money here from us lot.

Re: Immigration

Do these "recent" immigrants respect and embrace our customs, heritage and history? IMO they don't, infact they demand we accept theirs. The least I would expect from people who decide to make their home here is to respect the country they move into, if it's a good enough country to come and live in then it's a good enough country to accept and respect our way of life. A lot of immigrants can't even be asked to learn English which to me is disrespectful. If I emigrated to another country I would make an effort to speak the local lingo and learn a bit of history and local customs.

All political parties are to blame

Politicians do not have to live in areas where you & I live, they live in the leafy suburbs on their ill gotten gains

They do not send their kids to our schools or use the local doctors, so have no idea of the problems mass uncontrolled immigration brings.

Not suprised though whenever I look at that question time the vast majority of the panel have come from privileged backgrounds, be it private school, University & a non job/researcher etc & then on to become an MP.

ALL POLITICIANS SHOULD BE HANGED FOR CRIMES AGAINST THE BRITISH CITIZEN

Should be made to work here 5 years before they can claim any benefits.

Attract the ones who can offer the country something, by all means but we got enough of our own layabouts without taking some 3rd world countries problems on too. :old:

the problem is mario, that if you are to impose that rule, it must apply to everyone, not just immigrants, as you arent allowed to discriminate to people not born here if they are EU nationals. nothing to stop us applying that to non EU residents here, and its utter madness that it hasnt already been imposed.

so you wont get the people on benefits / unemployment benefits backing any party that backs that law

Re: Immigration

Fri May 03, 2013 3:43 pm

We have huge percentage of our youth unemployed and we are going to allow low skilled and poor Bulgarians and Romanians into this country? They will do a job for next to nothing keeping wages down. I agree with what Mario is saying entirely, we need hard working people here not layabouts we have enough of those like he said.

One thing I would introduce is a system where people cannot turn down jobs they think is below them, a load of cleaning jobs are going to foreigners because unemployed men think it's a womans job and prefer to sit on the dole.
