Comments like we wanted to take our kids and wife's to see the parade but its too late and there not happy ?
Well where the f**k were you and your kids for matches over the last few years ? Why didn't you take them to games ?
Where was your support when we were struggling ? Pisses me off !
Let me guess the games were at stupid times being on a Saturday afternoon![]()
It's unfortunate for a few who have to travel but there's entertainment on all day and the players will be there by half 6 its not that late and the council are putting on free buses to the bay !
Stop f*cking moaning and enjoy the day there's no school or work the next day so what does it matter if your kids are up an hour later than normal ? Pathetic

I haven't moaned as much, but it has annoyed me a little as I can't take my daughter, shes only one and normally in bed by 8ish, but I would've loved to have her photos taken with the players etc.
Think i'll go down with a few of the boys instead.

It is a stupid time for the squad to be introduced.
Why is it all so late on a Sunday? Makes no sense at all to me.

There'll be fireworks after and, erm, aren't they better in the dark skies??![]()

It makes perfect sense TBF and whatever time they hold it will not be good for some. Roads quieter (fans apart) and hopefully a balmy evening atmosphere![]()
Really looking forward to it![]()

Your damn right I've moaned about it, it's the first time in 52 years this club as played at this level and any respectable parent will realise even 6pm is too late, bank holiday or not.
I've got a question for you numb nuts, do you think it's acceptable for a 14 month old to but out in the chilling spring weather until past 10pm??
You also bang on about wives and kids not being there week in week out at the CCS?? Well they'll that to 80000 fans who attend?? And before you judge my reasons for moaning I've paid my season ticket every year for 14 years... More than likely older than you.
All I'm saying is, the club should have made it early to give everyone a chance Og going regardless of age.
If your old enough, you'll remember spending the day with the players and staff in Barry Island, not a glimpse at 18:45....

The world has changed since the days of Barry Butlins, mate and (with all due respect) I'm not sure this will be the place or occsion for a 14-month old at any time of day, given that The Bay will be full of excited football fans with beer and I am not sure your little 'un will remember much anyway![]()

Thats my whole point, it a family ocassion, I'd like to tell my son in 10, 20 years that we were there....... It's not just about getting smashed and having a good bank holiday piss up. He was born on the day of the carling cup Final, that's how I'm going remember it by, just would have liked a few snaps of him, with me at the parade that's all.
It's about creating future fans, showing the whole city that we are premier league, and everyone is invited.
The FA Cup parade down the bay in 2008 was brilliant, we all remember Steve Thompson and his guitar, and yes Barry island is in the past but that's how I remembered it and so did 10000s more, it made you want more.
