rumour is that a inquiry has been made to the club from a team in European competition about the availability of kimbo! Came from somebody who works down the club supposedly
Facebook :
Kimbo kyung subject to bid from European club , hope he doesn't leave us
Wouldn't be a shock the way he has played recently ! We should expect a few bids or inquiries even though we are premier league now
Whether its rumour or truth it's interesting , how much would we want for him if we were to let him go ?
Would we be stupid to sell him ?
Can we stand in his way if its a top team ?

Hold your nerve mate, this is the prem from now on and we'll see bullshit like never before from just about every source.

Ive always thought it was funny how we signed him when he supposedly had bigger teams than us after him, wouldnt suprise me if a deal was done with his agent, prior to him joining us to get him more exposure.
Hopefully not as hes shown his quality in the last few weeks ,think he'll be really good in the premier.

At least £25M but we wont sell we don't need the money
Mon Apr 29, 2013 9:33 am
Don't believe anything about players leaving or coming in until the deal is signed

If joe Allen was worth 15 mill then kimbo is aswell IMO he has a lot more potential and is more versatile than Allen

We'd be mad to sell him. An asian player like kimbo in the premier league could be worth a substantial amount of income to our club on shirts sales alone... Especially if he shines for us in the premier league, which I got a feeling he will

He's a class act. He'll get a new deal shortly if we have any sense.

That's why these guys have agents........

Wouldn't surprise me. 2m for Kimbo is a right steal, I think he'll be a class act in the premier league.

I personally think he is now our best player, I would keep him at all costs!

Are Swansea in a European competition?
Hope it's not them - but this is silly season - rumours will now fly from all directions!

It wouldn't surprise me if Kim had a release clause in his contract which would force us to sell him if a club bid a certain amount of money for him. He made it pretty clear when he arrived that he regarded City as a stepping stone. Hope I'm wrong.

Agreed especially after losing Kagawa, Gotze and Lewandowski.
Kim is a perfect Kagawa replacement.
Reus will do Gotze's job.
Then Dzeko apparently to replace Lewandowski are the rumours for Dortmund.
Plus they will probably be left with substantial profit. Makes sense for them.
Mon Apr 29, 2013 6:46 pm
If the bid is truth then i hope its at least double to what we paid for him.
but realisticaly I would like for us to keep hold of him, our best player over the last month or so. showed what he can do and he will be a vital player for us next season.
Mon Apr 29, 2013 6:47 pm
This is probably just lazy end of the season journalism that you get every year where people make up rumours about the star championship players moving to a top division. Used to happen every season with Whittingham and lower Prem clubs like Fulham, only difference is Kim is being linked with a 'European Club' because he is a foreign player and more exotic in his playing style.
I hope anyway

He will grace the premier league,Hopefully with us.
But he is under contract and is the poster boy in Asia for CCFC and Tan.
If he were to leave it would be for a hefty fee.

Thats one reason why we did sign him

Players rarely leave promoted clubs unless they are out of contract no matter how good they've been (Adam, Sinclair) because they would have to hand in a transfer request to do it, probably forgoing some assize loyalty bonus.

He'll stay with us for at least another season. The prem is his chance to show of his talents to the bigger clubs. Plus it's the league he's always wanted to play in
Tue Apr 30, 2013 2:14 pm
i could see him at a club like tottenham , perfect replacement for modric ,they have struggled to replace him since he left
and they are a european team , hopefully if this turns out to be true they tell all suiters where to go we need him next year he will shine in the prem
if its stupid money then i would let him go and go get a big japanese international like honda if he will come
