With all this news about the kit being all red next season - it got me wondering why Vinny seems so reluctant for a compromise.
The majority of the South East Asian flags are red and BLUE!!!; Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, Philippines and Taiwan.
Hasn't anybody ever made this point to Tan?
If Vincent thinks red is lucky and his part of the bargain then fair enough, but it seems logical to incorporate blue back into the kit don't you think?
It would also make a lot of fans happy and make him a much more popular person in our ranks!!

Nothing to do with Asian National colours. VT is from a Chinese background, where there is a general belief red is a lucky colour. Malaysia is a multi-cultural society, so everyone has different views.

Good point, but if he said china was the target market then I'd say fair enough - he said the market was Asia as a whole.
Red shorts an socks okay, but a Fc Basel style shirt would be be accepted by most. It would be nice for some flexibility

Trust me I have lived out here for 18 years, we will not get a look in outside of Malaysia.
There are 2 clubs supported out here, Mancs and Scousers. You hardly ever see Arsenal, Chelsea or Spurs never mind Man City so we have no hope
