No, you don't need either.
If you are a ST holder you can get tickets and you can travel however you want, not necessarily with the Supporters Club.

Season tickets count as ID, so no problems there. Having said that I don't think I've ever needed to show it at an away game.

You don't need to join the supporters club, although if you want to travel with them I think it's cheaper if you join (or you might have to join, I can't remember)

The hardest thing will be the availability of tickets next year I would have thought.
