WHATEVER YOU THINK OF TAN.........

Sun Apr 28, 2013 10:34 am

He aint shy and fair play to him,he showed up at the awards and gave an open speech about his decision to go for the red
He had no security and was very accomodating, I said to him I dont like the red and prefer our traditional blue colours and he took the time to speak to me and the wife
Top fella if you ask me :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

People getting in his ear and respectfully explaining what the colours mean to us is probably the best chance we've got of getting him to change his mind. :malky:

People underestimate his power and money. If he stays long term and we keep on building..our Club could become huge. It will take 10 years minimum but look at what he's done in just over 3 years. He's a billionaire!

^^^^^^^^^^I agree with this, but I strongly suspect that without the Dragon and the colour red he will not be able to market is in the far east in the way that he wants to, and that will give him far less leverage to make us into the really big club he wants to.

Personally I believe it will be a massive fail.

Tan has obviously got it in his head about red, look at his dress sense, and as far as I can see will not be shifted. I certainly feel demonstrations come riots are not the answer. Polite diplomacy is the answer but how one achieves that is the mystery.

Listen, we aren't going to see blue at home now for a very long time! So let's just get used to it!
It ISN'T happening!

Although listening to that speech it seems he may be a bit more allowing for wearing blue away next season instead of the ever presence of the third black kit.

watching his interviews and speeches, I cannot take him seriously. Hopes he fecks off asap...

Vincent Tan COULD be a Cardiff legend now, if.... *sigh*
Don't wanna think about how I would have felt this season, without his silly superstition, if he had been respectful to our club's tradition and identity...

So what your answer when he fecks off ASAP?

We would be liquidated in a heartbeat

That is the harsh reality of the situation.

He may have took away our traditional blue shirts but you can't question his commitment and investment to the club. We are still Cardiff City FC - The Bluebirds and we have a bluebird on the crest. Lets get the club to where it belongs in the PREMIER LEAGUE!! :ayatollah:

yea right...just THINK for one minute, and dont believe the doom and gloom:

Tan would leave, the club is in the Premier League, with a new stadium, sell out crowds etc...

Surely, no buyer is interested in that!!!

And surely, with a club/stadium etc worth millions to make with, he would drop it, let go bust and won't get anything in return?

And all because its not his favourite colour?

Bollixx

We are in debt 105m.......... most to Tan who if he were to leave would want it back.

You said you want him gone ASAP, whats your alternative please.

do you know 100% its 105m? how much money you make in the premiership each year? there would be buyers, there's no doubt, with Cardiff being in the Premiership, sellout crowd and a new stadium...otherwise Tan wouldnt have bought into City... and dont try telling me its because he sells that many red shirts in Asia, so he makes a profit...

Last accounts we were 83m in red and we've had another season since. Its not an issue while Tan is here.

Nice swerve.

If Tans fecks off like you want, please give us the alternative. Saying "there is bound to be someone interested" is not an alternative. Its also a gamble no real fan would want to take.
