New Fan

Took my 9 year old nephew to his first city game today his Dad is a manure fan. When Bellers name was called I thought my nephew was going to explode :laughing5: when he saw him I think he nearly wet himself as he has only seen Manure on TV, and to see his little face when we scored and I hugged him, was absolutly brilliant we now have a new fan. All my nephew did on the way home was the :malky: What a great day and a great season Thanks MM

Tere is nothing like being at a football arch compared to TV, a generation of Sky TV and lacklustre South Wales football at the same time has robbed a generation of football fans of that.

ive been taking my lad for about 5 years and on promotion tuesday he said it was the best day of his life. aw bless.
as someone who first started watching city in dark days of 86, i thought how lucky he is to be a kid thats seen cup finals and winning the league and soon premier league football. i came over all emotional today and told him what special times these are for us and to realise how lucky he is and to promise to love cardiff city forever even if we end up in league 2... and after today i believe he would. football is fans and now we will have a generation supporting city and not english scum.

I think the majority of people who support a prem team without actually going to watch them have never been to a football match. The atmosphere of a stadium and being around like minded people is what makes supporting a team so addictive.
If we lose every game for the next 5 seasons it wouldn't matter to the majority of us city fans because success is a bonus. Supporting your local team through good and bad should make you proud. The more young kids we can convert the better
