I'm only interested in winning - Dougie Freedman
11:00am Friday 26th April 2013 in Latest By Marc Iles
THERE will be no middle ground for Wanderers at Cardiff tomorrow – with Dougie Freedman insisting his side will be going all out for maximum points.
A draw would, on paper, look like a credible result against Malky Mackay’s title winners and could be enough to keep the Whites in the top six going into the final game, depending on Leicester’s result at Watford tonight.
But Freedman knows Nottingham Forest – who face Millwall at The Den – could make up ground, and insists he will not gamble by going to Cardiff to defend a point.
“It’s like a light switch, you’re either on or off,” he said. “I sound a bit smart, I know, but we must go and win. We can’t take any chances.
“The teams behind us could win. I know we’ll know the Leicester result but therefore the pressure will be coming from behind, and that hasn’t happened so far this season. It has been about us catching up.
“I need to approach the game in such a way that in the last 10 minutes I might have to throw a centre-half up front to get me a goal.
“At this particular stage of the season, wins are pretty much the only thing you need.”

Ahhhh. Freedman and his pathetic attempts at mindgames. Would you like mashed potato or chips with that Humble Pie for dinner tonight? He'll Always Be Scared.
