Fraizer Campbell..

Fri Apr 26, 2013 10:11 pm

Does anyone else feel he doesn't really want to be here? (I'm not scare mongering) just he always refers to the club and players as 'They' rather than we?

If Frazier doesn't feel part of the club at this point, I'd hate to think what Maynard's view is at the moment. :?

I think the smile on his face when scoring answers the question, though. :D

Might just be the way he is mate. You'll know when he dont wanna be here when hes in the paper like Conway. People read too much into sayings, body language, etc.

Ever considered he grew up supporting a team and hes always just called them 'we' and everyone else 'they' so for him to call us 'we' would be strange for him? I mean, if I played for Bristol there is not a chance in hell I'd say we.

I stand corrected! I missed his other part out on 'In The City' where everyone says what games they're looking forward to next season and he specified the South Wales derby

Seen an interview with him earlier and he was asked what game he was looking forward to most next year and his response was 'being a bluebird I'm looking forward to swansea the most'.

Fraizer is a bluebird lalalala lalalala :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

If 12months ago someone had said FC was going to sign for Cardiff i'd have laughed my ass off. He's always been a favorite of mine, delighted when he scored V Boro. He's impressed me even more since being with us too.

I've always felt that forwards fair better in the Prem going up with the club rather than being brought in after promotion so hopefully he can lead the line really well for us next season :malky: :malky:

Not everyone hits it first time running and he's had two massive injuries. You also have to be in the right team that are playing to your strengths (Michu has to be a great example of that) and the way the team was working around him showed that.

Previous in his career he's been shoved out on the wing too :thumbright:

Agreed, having watched him this season, as a main striker he has the knack of being in the right place at the right time, he will surprise Jacks and other fans that haven't seen him play......

Danny Graham scored for you, he hasn't scored for Sunderland either, horses for courses, he will score for us :ayatollah: :malky:

Hope he does well for you, Premier league is a different story though, you will see that soon enough. For the record though, Michu was the top scoring midfielder in La Liga the season before he joined us. :thumbright:

can see how Michu is an example of that since he was top scoring midfielder in La Liga last season and now one of the top in the Prem this year, Campbell hasn't performed at all at the higher level.

I meant Rayo Vallecano (in part) 25 when he went there 28 goals in 112 appearances then 17 in 39. Something changed about how he was being used.

Then at Swansea it went up another level again.

Typical of any footballer today mate, toe the party line, tell you what you wanna hear, take the money for a couple
of years then exit for the next pay day , remember " Im a Cardiff boy" Boothroyd anybody :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Too many factors to take into consideration to make an accurate assessment. People are just full of it. Style of play etc. etc. Carroll at Newcastle was doing well, at Liverpool he was terrible and at WHU hes doing okay again. Style of play is only one factor. This time next year we'll know. Until then no one has a clue.

Completely different. Bothroyd would do well, get the adulation and milk it and lap it up then cry, fall over like bambi and moan all the next game thinking his efforts the game before meant he could have an off day.

Campbell is fired up for every game and runs his socks off. Apples and Oranges.

He was 26 at the time though.. He had played a lot of seasons before that and not really done the business.

He always seems settled in the interviews I've seen.

As for the jack ignore him, how many rejects do they have that have made it in the prem

Just read a stat I wasnt aware of reference FC, he hasnt had a shot on target since his brace against Man City!

They say that a reliable striker is key to staying in the EPL, lets hope Cornelius knows were the net is.....

Gav, he's more of a CF like Rooney playing off Van Persie. The difference is, nobody is playing in front of Campbell as we just playing super defence tactics. Its ridiculous but true. We need to take more risks. You don't win a boxing match without throwing a punch and leaving yourself open at times. The key is nullifying those moments of exploitation by preparing for them.
