Was that the Burnley game the season we bottled the playoff place to Preston?

Aaaahh.... the old Grange End.

Sob, sob, sniffle, sniffle.

Had many happy days on those terraces ( and plenty of terrible ones as well!)

that was the day we were qeueing for cup tickets and they walked people in through the back and had a holding area in the grange then you walked through to the bob bank, hence why there is no one in the seats.

Could that have been one of the early rounds of the League Cup many years ago?

I'm sure there were a few games where the Bob Bank was not open in the early rounds. Or maybe my Alzheimers is worse than usual today.

There was when we played lower league teams and they usually only opened the grandstand, grangend and the family stand

Yep it's the queue for the FA Cup Semi Final against Barnsley. Ran from outside the ground into the Grange where they created that snaked queue, out and around the back of the Bob and down the back of the Canton to the ticket office.

Some great pics, and awesome memories, however we could never be where we are today in that ground, I wish we could have rebuilt it in the style of 4 big stands. But onwards and upwards. :malky:
