Marshall has been brilliant, no doubt about it, however, there will still be question marks at Premiership level until he proves himself, so there are question marks at that level. I don't see Joe Lewis hacking it in the Premier, in fact I think Tom Heaton was the better keeper of the both, but TH wasn't happy playing second fiddle, which is fair enough.
So who should come in to challenge Marshall for that place? for me the obvious choice would be Robert Green at QPR, he must be desperate for a move and desperate for first team football and to get his career back on track.
Any other suggestions?

Lets just say a good stopper is worth 10 points and in some cases even more

Mash is good we all agree on that.,But now he is up against a different class of player, that's not to say he cant hold his own , But we need as much class cover as we can get. After all he is the last stance in defense and after him come the points.

In reality Marshall is second choice at most now, unless you want us to become a yo yo club.

He needs to command his box better and kick better. I would say we can cope with him as number one but if we stay up for a second season then we would definitely need better if we want to make the step up to the next level. I mean, he can't even get a start for Scotland. No offence to him.

Already writing him off. He has been the best goal keeper in this division by far this season and he commands his box a lot better these days IMO.
I wonder how many of you will be licking his ass again when he pulls off another tremendous save time after time? Without him we would have been in the play offs this season, not league winners!
He is more than good enough to hold his own at the top level, if anything I think he will excel.
