I hope you find that caps lock key soon.

No from me. Not good enough, as the standard would be too much for him to make up imo.

He'd be a better option than Gestede or Mason at the moment, It's worth we put in a cheeky bid. I think Norwich are interesting in him as well. :ayatollah:

No, would probably only be a decent Championship striker at best

Decent Championship striker at best?

The lad was the Championship's third top scorer in 2009/10 with 18 goals (more than double the amount of our current top scorers) for a poor side, and has seven goals in 18 European games for Celtic.

I admit the £10m-£13m price tag from Celtic is too much, but to say he would be a "decent Championship striker" is ridiculous.

Not good enough to step up imo.

Was up in Scotland a couple of months ago & watched a celtic game . I was very impressed with Hooper , he had good pace, strength , gd link up play & knows where the net is . 4 goals in 11 champions league games he's more than a championship player

i really dont think he is that great... not worth the price tag quoted...

plenty of players score at championship level..

billy sharp, austin, vaz te, graham, holt, sinclair, rodriguez, morrison... theres loads... if hooper was really that good mid table prem teams would have snapped him up..

the opoosition he is scoring against in scotland is no different to championship or league 1 standards.

hes a decent championship striker like the above list, but hes not worth 10-12mil +

wasnt a lot of prem clubs blown out the water with their asking fee in january if i remember? certainly not worth it financially for us!

Decent as in good..? To be fair, I could of worded that sentence better

I'll add that he would be a good signing if we were to remain in the Championship (not for 12 mil though!), but I don't feel he'd make that much of an impact in the PL

Decent striker would love him here! but like any division top scorer they'll be priced at £8-10 million! :ayatollah:
