I thought it was probably something to do with rugby. Surprised at no police presence as if they are as pissed this early it will be messy later.

Of course they'll be there supporting their University and their mates who play for the teams taking part, but I know a few from the pub who are from Cardiff but supporting Swansea Uni...

Always money for booze and fags eh? Just no money for accommodation, food and books. Is there a different type of money/student loan for these?

There are plenty of police on duty today, because of the Varsity matches taking place. Many of the Swansea students are from other areas of the country. Grow up and let them get on with their annual celebrations. It has nothing to do with football rivalry, not that it would be a legitimate excuse for thing to get "messy"
