You need to be careful borrowing this type of kit from someone as you may need insurance. Triple extension ladders by their nature go up a long way hence the name.

There is a hire company on Sloper Road and I've always found them reasonable. Hope this helps?

Depends what angle you put them at really, also make sure they are secure at the bottom
