That's the way I would normally go to Hull as I live in Milton Keynes, this time around though as an early kick off the first train I could catch from Manchester would be the 09:42 getting into Hull at 11:35

yep that sounds familiar. Im getting to Hull that time too, id need to check the tickets but Im setting off from lime street at 7ish then changing at Manchester Piccadilly. Fully intend on being slightly tipsy by then.
