A SCOTTISH FAN CLUB

Tue Apr 23, 2013 2:36 pm

Just come off the phone to Paul who posts on here as City one, good bloke City fan for year and was involved with the CCSc many years ago, he now lives in Hawick but gets down to quite a few home and away games, and on Saturday met him in the ground with another Cardiff lad now living in Edinburgh.

Ironically standing three feet away from us in Burnley were two other Jocks, one from Ayr and one I think from Glasgow, now a lot of us will know of Paul Cummings PTB and his crew of City fans, it would be great to set up a club North of the border, and possibly get a ling with Vince and the CCSC, it would help them with travelling together and getting tickets surely for some games.

Let's hope it can set up. :malky: :malky: :malky: :malky:

Gwyn, it's worth looking into because there are quite a few city fans up here, the only problem i can see is pick up points because you have the west coast, (glasgow) then the east coast (edinburgh) and everybody else in between, but as i said, it's definitely worth having a look at.

I could add 3-4 more from Edinburgh...Hibs fans who come down on a regular basis.

We'd be game. I looked at it at a while back on a Scottish forum I once used and initially got good feedback before few followed it up. The more the merrier I say!

It would be good for us Cardiff fans to plan a football weekend in Scotland as well. I recently enjoyed the Scotland Wales weekend few weeks ago. Watching Partick was great fun :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I'm the guy from Ayr

Think this is a good idea as well!!!!!

Pick up points shouldn't be too bad, Edinburgh - M8 - Glasgow - M74 south sorted :thumbright:

Just be careful with those trips north though, took by mate from Cardiff up north to watch Ayr at home a few months back, fook moi it was only the only game OFF in Scotland with a frozen pitch

Bugger!!!!!!!!

I'd be up for it. I was also at Burnley with 2 other Scottish City fans. We try and get to between 8 and 10 games a season :ayatollah:

I'm bang up for it. I flew down from Edinburgh for the forest and charlton games so I'd live to see an organised group of us.

I'm also a Hibee as well, got a Hibs season ticket for next year sitting Next to the missus old man.

I'll speak to Vince tomoz, and see if the CCSC can be of any help, it would do no harm and for some games tickets and transport may prove easier, well worth pursuing. :old:

Great idea Gwyn! I've got a mate from Stranraer who's defo up for joining up and travelling with a Scottish fan club, he reckons a few of his mates would come for the odd trip to.

Ps. This is my first post on this message board, been reading it for a while but never posted.
