The Bundesleaguer in Germany are looking at feasibility of summer football.
Missing out Jan/Feb/March and putting in june/july /august
Personally i think it could be a good thing if we did it here.
We dont really have a hot summer , plus we could play at 5:15 on a saturday etc
Winter football is fukin freezing, dark and miserable -We'd see bigger crowds, and a knock on effect to pubs and stuff.
For fans - a lot now miss either the end or more usually, start of season for holidays so that should balance.
If you are a family man, you could meet the misses/kids before or after the game and make a nice summers day of it.
The players wouldnt really have an issue as they could long haul holiday in the winter off season.
No need for a fixture backlog due to frost, rain and snow
Any thoughts anyone?

No dark shitty winter afternoons are what makes football.
Plus nobody can go on holiday if there's football on
