" MONDAY APRIL 22nd 2013 UPDATE "

Mon Apr 22, 2013 7:23 pm

Season ticket sales are just over the 22,000 mark, which is 20,600 general season tickets and 1,500 in the Premier Club. The Premier seating is now sold out for next season and as of today there is a waiting list of approximately 250 on the waiting list and it is rising daily, the pricing was £1000 for Premier standard and £1100 for Premier Plus.

A small section of seats on Level four are being held back for those currently with tickets in the Premier seating to have priority on buy a match ticket for a game next season before they would go on general sale.

I know that some fans believe that the Premier seat holders will be entitled to a load of tickets for the away games but this is not true, around 10% of our away allocation is held for Premier seat holders and this is not new but has always been the case, so those worrying that they may not get away tickets next season should not worry too much as nothing has changed.

Also it is worth noting that we have dedicated away travellers who are Premier seat holders too, so they qualify for away travel like the Hull game in their own right, regardless of being a Premier seat holder.

On average in the Premier League we will get around 3,000 tickets for most games and nothing is confirmed but I expect a similar, if not the same, distribution as has always been the case, the more away games you attend the better chance you have of getting a ticket for the glamour games.

In the Premier League, if we are offered an away allocation of 3,000 tickets against a team, then the first 1,500 tickets will be on a sale or return basis, anything needed above that then the club will have to buy the full 3,000.

On Sunday May 5th there will be the trophy presentation, from the City centre to Cardiff Bay. We were told at last week's travel meeting that this would be happening and advised not to miss it as it is going to be something very very special.

On Monday May 6th there is a Premier League dinner reception taking place for the players and staff.

For those fans who enjoy going to watch the players train at the Vale, due to our success and rules of Premier League, as of next season fans will not be able to watch the training. The training pitches are to be fenced off and training will take place behind closed doors, so if you wish to see the players train then you will need to do so before the end of this season.

Against Bolton Wanderers on Saturday, as everyone is aware the Championship trophy will be presented to the team in the middle of the pitch on a platform, it is paramount that nobody invades the pitch as if that happens then it is very likely that the presentation will not happen, against Charlton it was spontaneous and expected as we clinched promotion but we have done that now and it is important that everybody gets the opportunity to see the presentation.

Against Charlton it came very close to the point that the players were not going to return back on to the pitch to celebrate as fans would not return to their seats, some of the players brought their children out with them but still some fans celebrated with them, no malice was intended but it was worrying for the some of the players and their children.

The club is not duty bound to lift the trophy in the middle of the pitch but want to do it like every other club does so we can all share the enjoyment, don't you spoil it or your mates spoil it for everyone, please pass the word around.

There is a bit of speculation surrounding Langston and a settlement now that we are in the Premier League, what I will say is that both the club and Langston want to get this done sooner rather than later and negotiations will resume in the next few weeks, I am not speaking on behalf of any side when I say that but just delivering what I have heard.

A £5 million promotion bonus is now enforceable and will be paid to Langston.

Anybody wishing to travel to Hull and qualify having attended 2 or more away games need to contact me ASAP, as I will be putting my list of fan numbers into the club tomorrow. Contact me by text, facebook or pm on this site.

I have 3 buses booked and tickets reserved.

It is up to you to contact me in order to book on :ayatollah:

If there is 22,000 season tickets, 2,700 away fans and segregation it doesn't leave many seats for general sale.

Season Tickets 22,000
Away Fans 2,700
Segregation 500 ?

General Sale 1,800 ?

Will there be any seats added?

NJ73 perhaps I could comment as both a supporter and also as a photographer who takes photos at Premiership matches (and for the club)

Premiership rules state that each club must allow accredited photographers the opportunity to take photos at training sessions and it follows that an appropriate area needs to be cordoned off for this to take place.

Cheers, Our training has been in a public environment for the whole time we've been in the PL.

I'm sure that PL rules state that clubs must keep a minimum of 5% of tickets available for general sale. On those figures it looks like we are very close to that.

Interesting too see how "Dynamic" pricing works with what is sure to be high demand.

Ignore the idiots Carl. Do you know when club will finalise away ticket distribution for next season. Corky suggested it would initially be based on number of aways this season but then change to possibly a points-based system.
