Was wondering when that was going to be published, I was asked to give my views too but wasn't interested at the time.

High profile? Apart from Jonathan Owen, I've never heard of them. Why not ask Nathan Cleverley and Neil Kinnock?

I thought Jonathan Owen would have been the LEAST known amongst that lot.

Agreed. He's the only one I knew as well. :ayatollah:

The others are obviously just plastics who've been quiet through years of torment etc. but now suddenly back out loud and proud.

Cant remember them screaming and crying about the playoff defeat and the one guy stop listening to the game to go for a bloody Indian because the pressure got too much     What the hell... you go through all that pressure for the team and you have to listen because as a fan you have to know. Order a bloody Indian in and support your team even if it means screaming at the radio like something out of a mental institute. :old:

Wrong on at least one count.

For instance. Mike Young is not a plastic. I knew him many years ago, spoke to him many times as he queued with all the other rank and file fans to get on the Grangend and the Bob Bank. He lived in Pentyrch, and had his business based down the Docks and before he moved to the USA to run his very successful business and sponsored Cardiif City with his cash when you probably weren't even going, people who use the term plastics are usually very ignorant of the circumstances of the people they throw their insults at. The minute you pay your money for a ticket, or have Cardiff City's best interests at heart you are a Cardiff fan. Anyone who calls another City fan a plastic, just because they dont measure up to their percieved criteria is an ignorant gobshite!

Maybe they have their own ways of dealing with things and just shut up shop and maybe I am wrong like you said but at the end of the day its funny how everyone is crawling out of the woodwork now. Maybe it was a bit judgemental and I will admit that to tar them with the same brush was wrong and I admit our club needs new fans but you got to admit its weird seeing people just change like that because of glory. Im not wanting to have a dig mate at anyone but come on even you have to admit that since promotion was secured its been weird as a Cardiff fan.

1. Fans suddenly coming out of everywhere
2. Being linked with players like Kalou and others almost every 5 minutes
3. The BBC praising us

It was always going to change! There is no turning back now, if we are successfull we will become a global name and a global product, we have to accept the changes and the strange feeling that goes with it. We will need every fan and every penny we can get our hands on. change is not always bad even if it is strange!

Surprised Mike Young isnt better known. He's been a city fan for donkeys years, we even had a Super Ted type logo on our shirts in the 80's!!

Also I remember Martin Rossiter. Was a bit of an indie kid in my younger years so pretty familiar with Gene. Seen then a few times in the Welsh club.

They left a message on my phone but I didn't get back to them

That MP recently said that 'Tescos in Penarth is a good local business' which really annoyed the local shopkeepers in Penarth Town Centre so what he says I'm very dubious about.

Apart fromMike Young and Jonathan Owen I have never even heard of the others even mentioned in the same paragraph as Cardiff City in any magazine or newspaper.
