It would be brilliant to have the fans united again. Keep those fingers crossed

But today I was talking to a bloke I have become friends with who works for the club in a fairly senior position. This fella knows how I feel about the re brand (against it) and has told me in previous conversations I have had with him over the last few months how there are plenty of people that work within the club that are far from happy with it, but of course unless they want to be out on their arse, they just have to put up with it.
Today we had both had a few bevvies so obviously his tongue was a bit loose, anyway he kept on grinning like a cheshire cat which I obviously thought was down to the promotion and title triumph, but then out of the blue (pun intended) he told me that there had been some talk around the club over the last week that suggests that, since Tuesday, Vincent Tan may have had a change of heart over the kit colour.
Well I looked at him and burst out laughing as I thought he was taking the piss. He didn't bat an eyelid though, just continued grinning and said to me that he believed that it may well be true.
You don't have to believe it of course, I probably wouldn't myself, but I am now grinning just as madly as he was.

Throwing away all the red history, not to mention the luck we have had. When was the last time we were promoted to the top league in a blue kit. We are in red now and we were in white in 1960.
Anyway I've got used to it now.
Next season we could finish 5th or 6th in a red kit. In blue we may not survive.
