Should the Club now ban ?

Sat Apr 20, 2013 8:29 am

People who wear OTHER Premiership clubs Jerseys, Hats , polo tops etc ? . We see it week in week out, in our ground. there is a guy who sits next to me who wear's a Man UTD hat every game. Should this be stopped as we are now in the Premier League.
Thought's please .

Yeah they shouldn't be allowed but there would be loads of half naked fat dudes walking around so I don't think they'd do it.

It will be stopped, we had it happen with us so the club put out a notice that people would be removed if they wore opposition tops in the home end

I go to watch Burton Albion when we are not playing. I wear my Cardiff coat and sit in their "neutral" area. However if I was a regular there like week in week out I would not be wearing that coat nor would I be sitting in that area. So I guess the answer is yes for the ban.

You have limited the ban to other premier shirts which is good because lately I have noticed people wearing shirts of the lower local teams which I think is great.

I agree with what you say, lower local team's is no problem at all. Premiership teams is a different matter, it could potentially cause similar problems that we had at the Carling cup final !!

Why do you think it's ok to turn up in the home end of a football stadium wearing your rivals colours?

Yes but Cardiff fans should be policing themselves on this quandry. Can't we get some sort of mob organised?

I don't. I just don't think it's ok to dictate to people what they should wear to a football match.

Never sure whether to take these posts seriously because there a people out there who would genuinely think this is a good idea.

Definitely not...wear what you want.

At night games I choose to wear a leather mini skirt and stilletoes.........I sense the hostility around me.

About an hour before the Charlton game, in the ground by the food stands a man walked past who had a Liverpool and Cardiff jersey combined as one with Bellamy on the back. It was wrong and I bet he got some hate, but man it was funny

I don't think we have a problem with that, I very very rarely see any other jerserys on display apart from an Ipswich fan who occasionally wears a hat or coat, he's a season ticket holder with two of his young sons who were born here. Don't know him but the people who sit around him give him a lot of stick and he loves it, when we play Ipswich he doesn't shy away from supporting his team to be fair.

The Jacks had a massive issue with this as a lot of their support is made up of Liverpool/United plastics.

I remember the photo of the jacks holding up a Judas banner whilst one of their own was wearing a Man U top.

I'm sure if there are people wearing the top of the team we are playing while in our end someone will clump them or kick them down the steps
