Unlike Tan who has backed his word with big money and that together with the best manager we have had at the club since Jimmy Scoular and a great squad of players has delivered the dream.
Whatever your view on Ridsdale he delivered the stadium when SH couldn't and without the stadium there would have been no Tan and without his money we would now be down the divisions.
ALL deserve credit for making the dream come true in my opinion.

' For myself the reality that we were heading for the Premier League hit home when Rudy Gestede scored his first against Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon.'
' But the dream began – whether you love him or loathe him – with Sam Hammam. '

Tans money brought the dream true because without his intervention in the high court 2 years ago we wouldn't be here now and we certainly wouldn't be lauding Sam for his part in the club achieving its dream.
The reality is without tan Sam and ridsdale s legacy would have been the man who started the debt nightmare and then the man who grew it and finally finished the club off.
All credit to Malky but without tans backing he could not have brought the players he wanted to achieve our dream.
Whilst I don't agree with the way the rebrand was bullied through you have to give tan credit for his vision because I don't think any sane man would have taken us on when he did without the amount of debt we were already in

Sam came in when we were in the same predicament as when Tan took over but there was a big difference.
Hamman look at us when we were scraping the barrel of the dungeon league when we were a club that looked like it had nothing going for itself. Actually the whole world would have loved to have seen the back of us.
In contrast Tan came in when we were knocking on the front door of the premier. Even though we failed then the opportunity of us was not one to throw away hence why he has hung around.
For given Ridsdale credit well some people need a rocket up their arse. The Riddler is the ultimate one who took us to closure by taking out shark loans and ignoring the taxman for the prize of where we are today.
